Insurance

We take most PPO plans, and we do the paperwork.

Dental insurance is rarely as simple as the card suggests. Bring it to the first appointment, or call ahead with the details and we will check what your policy actually covers before you commit to anything.

How it works here

01

We verify before you book

Call with your plan details and Stephanie will confirm coverage, so there is no surprise at the desk afterwards.

02

We file the claim

Directly with your carrier, and we chase it if it stalls. You pay only your share on the day.

03

We quote in writing

Your estimated portion is written down before treatment starts, not calculated afterwards.

A word about annual maximums

Most dental plans cap what they will pay in a calendar year, and that cap has barely moved in decades. If you need a course of treatment that runs past it, we can often stage the work across two plan years so more of it is covered.

It is worth asking. Nobody at your insurer will suggest it.

Questions

Asked often.

Are you in network with my plan?

We are in network with most major PPO plans. Because coverage differs even within one carrier, the honest answer needs your specific policy. Call the office with your card and we will check it before you book.

Do you file the claim for me?

Yes. We submit the claim directly and follow it up. You pay only your portion at the appointment.

What if I have no insurance?

A large number of our patients do not. We will quote the fee in writing before anything starts, and Stephanie can set up a payment plan.

Will you tell me what it costs before you start?

Always, and in writing. If something unexpected shows up mid-treatment we stop and talk to you rather than adding it to the bill.

Next step

Call and we will check your plan.

Two minutes on the phone now is better than a surprise at the desk later.
